I was feeling inspired to shoot something that was punchy and saturated and I knew ahead of time that this corner dining set was going to be perfect. Alice was an excellent fit for this with her unique kinetic modeling style. I'm using the FD 50mm 1.4 (I think) on this, but most of the aesthetic comes from the 18" beauty dish that I have on a Nanlite Forza 150b. This is a common light setup for me, though I prefer a light that has flash capability so I can crank the aperture higher. But the setup is easy, it yields good results, scratches my symmetry itch, and you can build some dope scenes and pull colors from basically nowhere. For example, there's so much green that was embedded in what looked like a grey wall, which is the perfect tone to play with since it didn't overlap with Alice's skin tone. So I was like green saturation slider goooooo!
