Now to lose 1lb or 500g a week - you need to create a deficit of approximately 500 cal every single day and thereβs a few ways to cut calories look at your food diaries and say what you could subtract from it equals that amount. Counting calories okay so how do you count them? I specifically told you to keep a food diary in your phones it tells you your daily intake of calories how many grams of fat protein carbohydrate et cetera et cetera tell You. There are numerous apps out there you can use my fitness pal so basically your new calorie target for a male should be in around 2000kcal. Obviously if you do this for a week and you havenβt lost anything you need to further reduce it down because this is for the average adult and every person is unique. Now, please bear in mind you need to be in a calorie deficit of 500 cal every single day, so if you go out at the weekend or have a takeout or have a slightly bigger portion you can fuck up your whole entire weekβs progress bottom line. The biggest mistake or one of them is to get into the mentality of its okay I earned thisβ¦.

So you could be in a 500 cal deficit every single day and go out at the weekend and have a few drinks you will fuck up everything that you have achieved that week bottom line weight loss is about lifestyle and its maintenance as well it all boils down to what youβre eating and drinking versus what youβre doing through physical activity and daily activity. I will reiterate it again, if you are not in a calorie deficit you will not lose a single bit of weight folks so if you are working out, and you do not see a change in your weight, you are eating and drinking far too many calories then youβre actually working off . This is why people often put on more weight during exercise because they get into the mentality that, βoh I have earned this because I worked out. WHEN in reality they havenβt burn off the calories at all. The term used for the above is known as compensatory eating and youβre free to google that in your own time and read up about it. So once youβve grasped the concept of calories and burning them off through exercise, you now have pretty much all the knowledge to lose weight. There is nothing magical about weight loss, no fancy diets, no magic, No fuss β it is all a calorie deficit folks if you are in a calorie deficit you will lose weight bottom fucking line.
